Great Exceeding 大过

Great excess describes a structure carrying more than ordinary design can safely bear. Da Guo is not simply ‘a lot happening.’ The load is exceptional enough that normal habits may fail even when everyone works harder. The reading therefore asks where the beam is bending, which support is critical, and what must change structurally before strain becomes collapse. Extraordinary conditions can justify extraordinary measures, but those measures should remain tied to the emergency rather than becoming a permanent operating model. Sometimes an aging or depleted system can still produce surprising renewal; sometimes the load has reached a point where a difficult crossing is unavoidable. Courage matters, but heroic overcommitment is not the same as structural repair. Redistribute pressure, reinforce the essential span, and know when the exceptional arrangement must end.
